President Biden promised to address the climate crisis by cutting climate pollution in half by 2030 and to deliver strong public health protections for all communities, including those historically overburdened by pollution.

The Climate Action Campaign’s “Solutions for Pollution” campaign will call on the Biden administration to carry out its responsibilities under our nation’s bedrock environmental laws, such as the Clean Air Act, by advancing approximately 20 protections across federal agencies that could cut climate pollution in half by 2030, advance vital public health and environmental justice goals, accelerate the transition to clean energy, and create new economic opportunity.

“This is the challenge of our collective lifetimes, an existential threat to human existence as we know it and every day we delay the cost of inaction increases.”
— President Joe Biden

ABOUT THE CAMPAIGN

Energy. Clean energy can't wait! These administrative actions will accelerate the transition to clean energy and create new economic opportunity. Wind, solar, and other home-grown renewable energy sources will power America into the future, create good-paying clean energy jobs, and bolster our clean energy independence.

Climate. Our climate can't wait! From more intense and frequent hurricanes, to worsening flooding, to raging wildfires, to deadly droughts, communities across the country are feeling the impacts of the climate crisis now. Every second we delay action, the cost to the American people only grows in lives and dollars lost, and harm to the environment. By using every lever at his disposal, President Biden can deliver on his promises and take the urgent action that science demands to address climate change.

Health. Our health can't wait! That's why our campaign advances vital public health goals by urging the administration to set the strongest possible standards to cut climate pollution and other dangerous pollution and to protect our health and environment.

Justice. Environmental justice can't wait! This is why our campaign advances key environmental justice goals and urges the administration to set the strongest possible standards to help communities and families that have been historically overburdened by pollution.
